Since I was a child, I have been drawn to stories where the protagonist finds themselves lost and alone in a strange world. I have always been enchanted by images of wandering through bizarre landscapes, separated from the familiar, and on a quest to find something that is unknown.   

 

Searching for the world that lies beyond the visible world.   

 

There came a time where I fell into a life that was not my own. It was a life of what I was supposed to be.  I had all the things my upbringing told me I should want.  

 

But I felt empty. 

 

And then I discovered the symbolic world of dreams. I became fascinated with the idea that dreams hold meaning and are a guide to the realm of the soul.  My dreams led me on an underworld journey where I began to discover parts of myself that were hidden in shadows.  It was a painful journey and there were many losses.

 

But I began to feel like I was inhabiting my own life, not that of someone else.

 

I discovered astrology at around the same time as dreams. Through astrology and dreams, I rediscovered the enchantment with life I had felt as a child.  I again wandered in strange lands, but they were the lands of my own psyche instead of other people’s stories.
